Golfe du Lyon Le Bosquet Canet Vin de Sable 2007

This single variety wine from Listel’s Domaine du Bosquet-Canet in the Vins des Sables region reflects the unique characteristics of this noble variety when it is grown in the special environment of the Golfe du Lyon.
The distinctive nature of the soil – sand dunes of River Rhône deposits as well as marine and wind drift from offshore sand bars – means that the wine shows the finesse and delicacy of its noble ancestry without being weighty or over-bodied.

The Domaine is located at Aigues-Mortes (Gard) where its climate is dominated by moist southerly winds. Canet is the name of an old independent vineyard which has been part of the Domaine du Bosquet since the early 1960s.
